Soviet Air Force Major General
daily uniform M1969

Strict and well kept daily service uniform for a major general, war veteran and Hero of the Soviet Union in the soviet air force. The uniform is made from olive gabardine with sky blue piping and the trousers are in matching material and quality. The shoulder boards have rich embroidery with oxidized golden stars, correct for the M1969 uniform. The buttons are hallmarked Mossthamp '82' which matches up perfectly with the ribbon bar.

The decorations in the ribbon bar include the wartime medals for defense of Moscow and Stalingrad and also hold two Order of Lenin and two Red Banner, the Order of the Red Star and the medal for guarding the Soviet state border. Other wartime awards include the medal for capture of Berlin and the medal for liberation of Warszawa and postwar awards include the medal for combat brotherhood. There are also traces on the collar from a pinback Highest Soviet - badge. The award "Hero of Soviet Union" is a copy. On the wearers left is a graduation badge from a military academy, a Red guards badge, a beautiful screwback 1950s pilot wing and a copy of the Distinguished test navigator title award.

Overall, the uniform set is in excellent condition shows light to medium wear (medium for visor cap). The uniform itself roughly dates from the early 1980s. The size for the tunic is 54 (44, L-XL), the visor cap is 57. The uniform comes with a shirt and tie.
