Soviet-Russian 1970s-1980s parade uniform for a captain III rank - Kapitan tret'yevo ranga - of the Soviet Navy.
The uniform is the beautiful white summer dress version and comes with white trousers.
Each shoulder board carry one golden star gold and black for the rank equivalent to major. The shoulder boards
have gained a nice dark patina over the years. The tunic itself show some wear, but is in overall good condition.
The visor cap is a 1970s parade cap with metal golden decorations on the visor and a metal standard navy cocarde.
The awards indicate a 1960-1990s career within the Soviet navy and includes the medal for guarding the Soviet state border, the medal for Veteran serviceman, all three classes of the irreproachable service awards, the medal for veteran of Labor (likely given at retirement) and the russian federation medal commemorating the 300th anniversary of the Baltic fleet. On the wearers right chest is a graduation badge from a navy academy and a long journey by sea - badge, both brass/metal and enamel.
The size of the uniform is 50 russian or 40US, on the longer side. The visor cap is a size 58 with unreadable makers mark. The uniform comes with matching white trousers. The belt with dagger hangers is not included, but recommended as a separate and optional purchase.
