1987 dress uniform for a sergeant of the Soviet armor troops, circa 1987-1988.
This uniform dates buttonwise to 1987 but have like been used after this year as well. The collar tabs and the sleeve patch holds the armor troops insignia for the cavalry branch and the shoulder boards as well as the collar tabs are black, correct for armor troops. The wide golden stripe on the shoulder boards indicate the rank of senior sergeant. There are traces from numerous badges on the tunic.
The trousers, which are EM type lacking piping, are intended for wear with boots and are in good shape.
The tunic and trousers are size 46-48 (US36) which is a small size. The white belt and the green shirt and tie are all included as well.
