Soviet M1969 daily duty uniform for a ship artillery / gunnery junior officer, circa 1970s. The shoulder boards are black with three small golden stars each and the crossed cannon barrel insignia on top.
The awards indicate a career from 1960s through 1970s with the medals of the time, the medal for 100th anniversary of the birth of V.I. Lenin, the medal for 20th anniversary of the Victory in 1965 and the 1968 medal for the 50th anniversary of the Soviet armed forces. The ribbons are mounted onto a bar and are all the small type. On the wearers right is a military school VU graduation badge with beautiful enamel.
The visor cap is a 1970s with pressed cardboard visor. Both the tunic and the visor cap is in good shape with some wear. All Navy front buttons on the tunic as well as the lapel buttons are present. There are no sleeve stripes on the tunic and there are no traces of such ever being attached.
The size of the uniform is about size 50 russian or 38-40US. The visor cap is a size 57.
